In the last episode, I told you I would upload a few short meditations to try if you are someone that just hasn't been able to meditate in the past.   This meditation is short and won't need your attention for too long.  It's a great starting point for trying meditation.  Remember, you don't need to shut your brain or mind off, just notice what comes up and then bring your attention back.  It's that simple.

The music in this episode is titled Sanguive and the Artist is Joseph Beg.   It was provided by Epidemicsound.com

Find a comfortable position and allow your body to relax. And gently close your eyes and take a slow breath in. And breathe out. As we bring our attention to the breath, notice where you feel it most. Do you feel the air coming into your nose? Or your chest as it slightly rises. Or the expansion as the air comes down into your stomach. Just observe this. There's no need to change anything right now. Take another deep breath in. Feel the cool air run through your nose, down the back of your throat, and breathe out. If you notice your attention starts drifting, gently bring it back to the breath. No need to be frustrated or judge this. Simply acknowledge that you wandered and gently bring the attention back. Stay with us for a few moments, breathing in and out. Just noticing the way the breath makes you feel as you allow oxygen to come into your lungs and give life to your body. Take one final deep breath in here, really feeling the life come into your body. And on the exhale, release any tension that's built up. When you feel ready, slowly allow yourself to reconnect with the room that you're in, and open your eyes.
